Role at Emerson: K.C. manages client portfolios and is a member of our Investment Strategy and Executive Committees. He plays a major role in building and sustaining our client relationships. He works on bringing the best of industry practices through his role at the Investment Adviser Association to Emerson.
Experience: K.C.'s prior positions in the industry include principal and portfolio manager for Middleton & Company; vice president and portfolio manager for Scudder, Stevens & Clark; and vice president for Morgan Guaranty Trust in Boston, Brussels, Antwerp and New York. A graduate of Harvard College (AB), K.C. is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a Chartered Investment Counselor and a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts. In addition, he is a member of the Investment Adviser Association Board of Governors. In the community, K.C. serves as head of the Finance Commission and vestry member at Christ Church in Greenwich, CT.  He has also served as a trustee of St. Paul's School (Concord, NH) and is a former director and race director of the Head Of The Charles® Regatta.
Interests: Blues and bluegrass (he plays five-string banjo), Scottish and English music, America's historical storytelling traditions, reading history books and rowing.
