Trip Hargrave Joins Emerson
We are pleased to announce that in January 2011 Mark C. (Trip) Hargrave, III joined Emerson as a Managing Director. Trip brings thirty-two years of banking and wealth management expertise to his role at Emerson. He is widely admired for his understanding of affluent families' needs. This quality, along with his professional and personal approach to client relationships, makes him a terrific fit as a member of our team at Emerson Investment Management. Trip plays an integral role in developing and sustaining Emerson’s relationships with clients, prospective clients and business partners. Additionally, he is a part of Emerson's Investment Strategy Committee, and has an important leadership role on our Executive Committee. Prior to joining Emerson, Trip spent sixteen years at Boston Private Bank and Trust Company, most recently as a Senior Vice President. Preceding his position at Boston Private he held senior positions at New England Merchants, Bank of New England and Neworld Bank. Trip is a graduate of Saint Lawrence University (BA) and received his MBA at the University of Rochester’s Simon Graduate School of Business.
