EQUITY RESEARCH ANALYST

Emerson Investment Management is a growing registered investment advisory firm located in Boston, MA, with assets under management in excess of $400 million. We are seeking an equity analyst to join our investment team.

Principal Responsibilities

1. Analyze, recommend and present investment opportunities within firm’s investment philosophy

2. Screen research resources for new ideas

3. Communicate performance and changes in investment outlook to management and clients

4. Maintain and analyze data related to investment decisions for due diligence, compliance, risk management and performance attribution

5. Contribute to asset allocation decisions as a member of the firm’s Investment Strategy Committee

Qualifications

1. Buy side experience in bottom-up stock picking in multiple industries (3-5 years preferred)

2. CFA or working toward completion

3. Strong communication skills

4. Motivated, goal-oriented, team player
